I am an independent arts and culture reporter and magazine editor.
My words can be found in Washington City Paper, The DC Line and International Journalists' Network. Additionally, I am the editor of Craft Quarterly magazine published three times a year by the James Renwick Alliance, a nonprofit that supports American craft art.
The District's arts community is home. My work includes guiding local arts associations as a cochair of Emerging Arts Leaders DC and a board member of Day Eight. In 2019, I had the honor of speaking about arts reporting as a featured speaker in the "State of Art/DC" forum at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
As a 2019-2020 Faith Flanagan Fellow with the DC chapter of ArtTable, I collaborated with a team to complete a digital storytelling project about prominent women in the city's art history.
